Einzigst die Höhe bei den Stativ Füssen ist mit 65cm bei großen 32 Zolll Monitoren etwas knapp bemessen.\nAuch der Kugelkopf könnte noch etwas mehr Halt bieten, vor allem,, wenn man die Lichter hochkant auf die Seite kippt.\n\nEin anderer kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Neewer Control App am PC, diese nämlich muss immer gestartet werden, wenn man die Lampen zB am Stream Deck nutzen möchte.\nAnsonsten bin ich sehr begeistert von den Neewer Streaming Lights.\nDie Helligkeit ist absolut Top, mir reichen schon 15% dabei zum Streamen. It’s great as a portrait light with many options, either on the back panel (with real hardware buttons) or the phone app, which hasKeep in mind it comes with no battery (they can be purchased separately and clip on to the back) and no tripod. It requires a solid tripod because it’s heavy. I’m currently using one from the same brand that came with a ring light. It works fine plugged in.I’m usually not a fan of phone apps that pilot hardware, because they often get the UX wrong and waste my time. This one is remarkable, however. It has a slew of options and it’s infinitely configurable. There are plenty of party tricks, including pulsating to the rhythm of (loud) music. The app can pilot multiple lights from the same brand, and there are synchronisation options. It’s all fun and potentially nerdy with a lot of granularity, even though it can be set up very simply in a minute to get the perfect light for whatever application.I like using it in my studio as a warm sunset light, and also to take studio pictures and objects. But I’ll have to get it out for kids’ birthday parties too.It comes in a nice big bag. It really throws a lot of light although you can dim it down if you want to. It's all controllable through an app on your phone so yay for not having another remote control hanging around. Itl really can throw a lot of light even in a dim room that would make it suitable for filming. But you do have the option to dim it to ring light level through the functions. The instruction manual says to be cautious about staring into the light so it's best to have it off to the side a bit when filming. An amazing source of light and colour effects for filming. Einzigst die Höhe bei den Stativ Füssen ist mit 65cm bei großen 32 Zolll Monitoren etwas knapp bemessen.\nAuch der Kugelkopf könnte noch etwas mehr Halt bieten, vor allem,, wenn man die Lichter hochkant auf die Seite kippt.\n\nEin anderer kleiner Kritikpunkt ist die Neewer Control App am PC, diese nämlich muss immer gestartet werden, wenn man die Lampen zB am Stream Deck nutzen möchte.\nAnsonsten bin ich sehr begeistert von den Neewer Streaming Lights.\nDie Helligkeit ist absolut Top, mir reichen schon 15% dabei zum Streamen. I had the GM-MP1 sitting in my cart forever, debating if I should get it or look for something better. I eventually went with the GM-MP3 since the design looked a bit more refined, even though a bit pricier.Right out of the box, the rail feels well-built. The aluminum body has a nice weight to it and doesn’t flex when I mount my camera and lens. The Arca-type quick release plate makes switching gear convenient, and it attached to my tripod with no issues. It also includes a 3/8” to 1/4” adapter and two hex keys, which is convenient.Movement-wise, you get forward/back and left/right adjustments, plus a 360-degree swivel as well with a snap-in lock at every 90º position. It’s really handy for fine-tuning composition without touching the camera itself. The sliders move smoothly, and when you lock them down, they stay put. There can be a tiny bit of play if you don’t tighten everything properly, but once I started locking the knobs firmly, it wasn’t a problem.The lead screw and dual rails make precise adjustments easy. The knobs are comfortable to turn, and everything feels stable. I’m using it with a mirrorless camera and a 100mm macro lens, and it holds that setup without any struggle. If someone is using a heavier rig or shooting at extreme angles, the experience may vary - I can’t verify that - but for my setup, it works just great.Overall, this does exactly what I needed - smooth, reliable micro-adjustments for macro shots and product photography. In the most recent session I run it into a parabolic softbox, bouncing the light back towards the subject. My one quibble is the way that umbrellas mount to this unit. Granted, I haven't had any problems with this so far, but I'd feel better if I had a little twist nob. Great value for the money too. I have lights from Godox, Amaran, and Smallrig and this is right up there with all of those. I honestly thought about becoming a YouTuber after using this thing!The alloy frame is super durable and although it is heavy, if you have a decent tripod you shouldn't worry. I mounted it all within about 5 minutes after unboxing it, so it was pretty self explanatory as well. I was able to use my Sony ZV-E10 II and a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and it was able to preform with both cameras brilliantly, so compatibility should not be an issue if you have any mirrorless camera. It also started raining outside while I was filming and I was able to continue because of the canvas/plastic material hood that goes over the camera, it protected my equipment from the elements pretty well.The teleprompter app worked well with my tablet and the remote control had seamless connectivity making reading the script I had incredibly easy. The glass is easy to clean as well so when I got home I just wiped it off and no smudges were detected.I still use it to this day and mounting and unmounting it from my tripods is easy and effortless.
